I would say that they would accept this reasoning. I don't believe this article pertain to them since they are middle class and also are adults. More than likely, they are parents too. It wouldn't be accepted by teenagers such as myself. A lot of parents want their children to focus more on their school work instead of a job anywhere, including McDonalds.
